VIVA MAPUA CARDINALS Submission Guidelines:

In order to organize all submissions from contributors and owners alike, the editors of Viva Mapua Cardinals created submission guidelines.

By creating such guidelines, we assure that the contents of this online community site will be of greater relevance to the Mapua community.

The following guidelines were formulated based on the observations of the editors and from feedback of readers and contributors.

1. All Posts should be about Mapua and/or Mapuans, the school, its events.

2. Event Announcements of organizations are welcome. Announcement should be accompanied with a poster, related to the event or announcement, and shall include essential details. Supporting text should be at the maximum of 150 words, should be cut down and be given a link that directs to the website which explains the event in full detail.

3. News Submissions should be submitted as link, photo, video or text. The type of post depends on the type of news to be submitted. News submissions should be accompanied with the link of the original source.

4. Original Text Compositions such as essays, features, poems, etc., illustrating Mapua, Mapuan’s life or anything in between must be objective. Compositions that reflect personal opinions will be automatically deleted.

5. Photo Posts are welcome; however, submissions with watermarks will be under deliberation. Watermarks should not encompass a huge space of the submission as this may equate to personal advertising.

6. Fan Arts or Digital Arts such as typography, vector designs will undergo the same deliberation like photo submissions. Fan arts or digital arts should be accompanied with a short description.

6. Video Posts such as music videos, projects, etc., are welcome. Video submissions will be judged according to the content of the video as well as the text supporting the video. A minimum of 150 words will be set as a requirement for the video description.

7. Articles from the Web should be submitted with the original text, the name of the author and the accompanying link from the original site. If the link is not available, the author must be cited.

Posts that fail to comply to any of the guidelines will be deleted. The editors and the website staff have the right to edit submissions whenever needed and has the right to reject submissions.

A post, once submitted and selected, will be under the ownership of the contributor and the staff. The staff has the rights to every post submitted as well as retrieval of posts from unsolicited usage (e.g. stealing of ownership of posts).

A post will not be automatically accepted as soon as it was submitted. Due to several procedures for screening and approval and the number of submissions being screened, it might take several hours or a day for it to be approved.

Thank you.
